Privacy policy
This platform processes personal data only as required for functionality, security and, where consent has been given, statistical analysis. Processing follows applicable data protection regulations.
1. Data we process
During registration, sign-in and use of the platform we process data such as username, email address, optional profile information and the vehicle data, texts and images submitted by users. For contact requests the email address provided by the user is additionally processed.
2. Purpose
Data is used to provide and operate the platform, authenticate users, communicate with users, run the public database securely and, where consent is given, measure reach.
3. Recipients and disclosure
Data is generally not sold to third parties. It is only shared where technically required for platform operation or where legally required. Contact requests are forwarded to the configured contact email address if one is set.
4. Analytics and log data
After explicit consent via the cookie banner, page requests store technical usage data for statistical analysis including requested paths, timestamps, referrer domain, campaign parameters (UTM), detected device type, detected browser/OS family, a pseudonymous visitor token and, where available via infrastructure headers, a country code. The consent decision itself is stored in a separate consent cookie. Admin areas and obvious bot requests are excluded from this analytics dataset.
5. Legal basis
Where personal data is processed, this is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract performance or pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interests in secure operation and abuse prevention, and for optional analytics cookies on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR after consent has been given.
6. Storage duration
Personal data is retained only for as long as needed for the respective purpose or as required by law. Analytics and log data is reviewed regularly and deleted or anonymized when the processing purpose no longer applies.
7. User rights
Users may request access, correction or deletion of their data, subject to statutory retention obligations. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Please use the contact form or contact the operator directly.
